Original Texts

If the text is entirely originally yours (you have written your own texts), it’s protected by copyright law as soon as it’s created. You can learn more about copyright and how to register your original work with the U.S. copyright office by visiting their website copyright.gov/eco.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Changing only some of the words to a text that already exists (such as one or two words from a responsorial psalm) cannot be regarded as your own original text. Neither is it copyrighted under the owners of the original texts. Therefore, it will not be accepted by SLC.
